A motorcar of rare beauty - THE RIVIERA - a stunningly smart new body type conceived and styled by Buick

Some of the biggest news in the automotive world for 1949 was Buick's Roadmaster Riviera Hardtop Model 76-R.  Buick called it the first truly modern hardtop, and Edward Ragsdale, Buick's general manufacturing manager, was quickly credited with being the creator of all modern hardtops.  This 8-1/2" x 12", 4-page, color brochure introduces the 1949 76-R.  Many beautiful color illustrations.  Also contains specifications.
