Post Card - Office Building, Buick Motor Co, Flint, Mich.

Rare 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" color lithograph post card, postmarked September 8, 1942.  This is a view of the Buick headquarters building looking Northwest across Hamilton Avenue.  A very small portion of Factory #1 can be seen behind the Buick headquarters building (right).   In 1917, the original Buick headquarters building on Hamilton Avenue was demolished to make way for this much-needed new building to accommodate the growing administrative staff.  There is a handwritten message on the reverse side of the post card.  You will receive high-resolution images of excellent clarity of both sides of this post card, enlarged to 8-1/2" x 11" to show evey detail.
