The History of Factory 29 1918-1995

28 pages, 8-1/2" x 11", printed in black and white (sepia tones), well illustrated throughout with detailed photographs. History of Buick's Factory 29 and Buick Motor Division. Contains 77 years of history of Factory 29, and the history of Buick beginning in 1902, through 1995. Although Factory 29 never produced engines or transmissions, and it never assembled automobiles, Buick relied heavily on Factory 29 for solving tooling, assembly, quality and efficiency problems. Factory 29 was a source of technical talent for the entire Buick Flint site. Factory 29 employees were tool designers, tool engineers and manufacturing engineers and supervisors in many different plants at the Flint Buick complex. An interesting and informative booklet.
