Self Starter Facts

3 1/2 X 6, 19 pages. "There is evidence on every hand that self starters of all kinds have not as yet reached a state of efficiency where they can be considered as an economical or satisfactory appliance..." It was 1913 and Buick did not have a self starter, even though its sister division Cadillac did. In order to try and explain to their customers why self starters were not a good idea, Buick printed this booklet! However, Buick quickly changed its mind and in 1914 the self starter arrived at Buick. A historically interesting booklet.
