Buick Motor Company - Jackson, Michigan

7-1/2" x 10-1/2", 18 pages, Black & White (printed in three colors), very well-illustrated.  Presents the 1905 Model C Buick Touring Car and lists specifications.  Contains a photograph of the Jackson Plant, a 1905 Model "C" Touring Car, a 1905 Model "C" Touring Car with Cape Cart Top, Chassis of a Buick Model "C" Touring Car, engine and transmission.  The Model "C" was Buick's only 1905 Model.  It was essentially the same as the 1904 Model B.  One addition for 1905 was the name "Buick" stamped into the running boards.  This is Buick's first real sales catalog.  It prominently stated that Buicks were built in Jackson, Michigan; however, only assembly was done at Jackson in 1905.  Engines, transmissions and bodies were made at Flint.  For a brief period, Buick was located in Jackson, Michigan.  If you have an interest in this item, also please see item number 00928.
