Fisher Body 1949 Service & Construction Manual - C Styles - Buick 50 & 70 Series

136 pages, Black & White.  This manual is compiled so as to photographically describe the construction of Fisher built Buick "C" body styles for the model year 1949. This manual demonstrates, with photographic reproduction, the actual construction of metal panels and body parts, and their formation and attachment to neighboring parts, without the necessity of an elaborate printed description.

This manual was prepared primarily for use in body shops of Buick Dealers.  It describes in detail the many new features of 1949 Buick "C" body construction, including curved windshields and back glass, body front end assembly, including cowl side panels and front body pillars, construction of doors, hinges, locks and striker plates, rear quarter side outer panels, and the hydraulic operation of the quarter windows on convertible coupes. These, and many other new body changes pertinent to 1949 "C" body styles as used by Buick, are illustrated and described in this heavily illustrated shop manual.  If you are restoring a 1949 Buick 50 or 70 Series, this manual is a MUST for that perfect restoration.
