British Coach Work For General Motors Chassis - Buick

Here at the BHA, we particularly enjoy Buick sales catalogs that were produced for markets other than the United States, and we have found this British sales catalog to be particularly interesting.  9" x 11-1/4", 16 pages, Black and White (printed in three colors).  The "Preface" of this exceedingly rare sales catalog describes its contents as follows: "For many years past we have specialized in English body-work fitted to Buick Chassis, and this body-work having met with such a gratifying response from all parts of the world, we have decided to continue this idea.  The bodies illustrated in the following pages by virtue of quantity production can be supplied at prices which, considering the material, workmanship, and finish used in their construction, cannot be approached by other manufacturers.  We are incorporating in these models for the 1920 Season the result of our experience extending over many years, and with confidence we submit this little booklet."  Models covered, with highly detailed illustrations, are as follows: Empress, Empress (with top raised), Streamline Touring Car, Streamline Touring Car (with top raised), Arcadian Cabriolet, Arcadian Cabriolet (top down), All-Weather Cabriolet, All-Weather Cabriolet (top down), Laudaulette, Laudaulette (with top down).
